Dr. Sufia Palluck was born and raised in Las Vegas, where she excelled in both academics and athletics. She received a full scholarship for soccer from the University of San Diego, and subsequently played one year of professional soccer in the German Women’s Bundesliga in Saarbrücken. After leading her team in scoring, she was recruited to play in the United States for the newly formed WUSA professional soccer league, but when the league fell into financial hardship, she decided to pursue her other passion—Dentistry.
Dr. Palluck attended the USC School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. She returned to Las Vegas after graduating in 2006 and has been treating patients here in the valley ever since. After performing tens of thousands of dental procedures, and treating thousands of Las Vegas residents, Dr. Palluck is as passionate as ever about helping to improve her patients’ lives through their dental health.
Dr. Palluck believes that everyone deserves to have a healthy and attractive smile. Having a great smile boosts confidence, and a healthy mouth increases one’s quality of life. While some people are born with healthy and beautiful teeth, others are more prone to decay. Regardless of which type of person you are, Dr. Palluck can repair and restore your teeth to create a beautiful, white smile that you will be proud to show off.
Dr. Palluck is also committed to continuously learning and improving upon the latest and best dental techniques. In this way, every year her studying greatly exceeds the amount of required continuing education hours—often by as many as 5 times. Dr. David Somoza
Dr. David Somoza-Valle was born and raised in the wonderful city of Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison to complete a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. Before deciding to pursue dentistry, he taught middle school and high school science. Once Dr. David knew the dental field was his calling, he obtained a master’s degree from Barry University. He then, moved to Boston in 2015 to attend Tufts University, earning his DMD in 2019. After graduation, he lived and worked in Rhode Island. In March of 2022, Dr. David and his then fiancé, Alison, decided to head out West, get married, and settle in Las Vegas.
Growing up, Dr. David enjoyed going to the dentist but, it wasn’t until after graduating from UW – Madison that he considered entering the dental field. This profession mixes meeting new people and greatly impacting their lives which is what he truly appreciates about this career path. As a recent transplant to the bright city of Las Vegas, Dr. David promises to excel in learning and helping his patients achieve all of their dental goals!
When Dr. David isn’t in the office, you can find him in museums, national and state parks, and zoos! Some of his favorites are the Cincinnati Zoo, San Diego Zoo, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. As an avid sports fan, he supports the Miami Dolphins, WNBA team, The ACES, and the LA Dodgers. Dr. David is also always cheering on Chelsea and the Spanish national team!

We have been going to Somerset Dental for the last few years and are so happy that we found them. The front desk staff is very kind and attentive they know who your family members are and what’s going on. My hygienist is very caring and makes me feel very comfortable. I don’t mind seeing my dental appointments come up anymore. Dr. Somerset is amazing and her and her team show you they care.

I had a wonderful experience at Somerset Dental. The staff is super friendly, efficient and accommodating. My hygienist Ally was beyond knowledgeable and very gentle. She was soft spoken and really put me at ease. Dr. Palluck was equally comforting and I trusted her expertise. I’ve already made an appointment to have my teeth whitened and have some bonding replaced. I really love their practice and I’m actually looking forward to having my smile updated before a family vacation. Scheduling was super easy by the way!

The receptionists during check in were very friendly and accommodating. The dental hygienist was very through and felt she took her time and really cleaned my teeth gently. Sufia the actual dentist was fabulous. Provided me with another through exam and didn’t rush. Gave me some options to keep my teeth in tip top shape. I’ll definitely be coming back.
